There is a narrow beach across the street where you can swim and fish in the bay. It’s within walking distance.
Within a few minutes, there are two public beaches. Windmark has north and south access points – both have parking, bathrooms and outdoor showers. There is a 2.5 mile paved trail that runs along the water between the two.
The other is Port St. Joe Bay Public Beach Access about a mile away. There is parking but no bathrooms.
There are several other beach access points along the coast. Mexico Beach, which is more popular, is about 12 miles away.
Yes! In Gulf County, you can walk your dogs on the beach if they are leashed. We also have a dog park on property.
We have fire rings available that can be brought to your site. Just stop into the office to request one. You are also able to bring your own fire pits or solo stoves.
We recommend the public boat launch in downtown Port St. Joe on 5th street. It’s called Frank Pate Park.
Yes, if your boat does not fit on your site, we have parking lot storage available for $45/week or $60/month.
Yes, it is heated and open year-round.
